Above all else, Coach Fyfe is passionate about the game of rugby and particularly the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie that it develops. He values team success, as well as individual player development, and has a long history of playing and coaching rugby in both South Africa and the US. After his high school playing days, he coached all age levels at Pretoria Boys High School in South Africa from 1992 to 1999. After moving to the US, he coached high school rugby at the Kent Crusaders Rugby Club outside Seattle and helped take them to two national high school tournaments. In 2007, he took over as Head Coach at the University of Arkansas Rugby Club and has guided them from DII to DIAA and a short stint in DIA before rejoining the DIAA Heart of America Conference in 2021.
Lance Cummings

Being born and raised in Arkansas, as well as an alumni of the University of Arkansas, Coach Lance is passionate about not only the sport of rugby, but specifically Razorback Rugby. Coach Lance started playing rugby as a freshman in high school in Little Rock, AR where he captained his team for 3 years and attended high performance camps. He then attended the University of Arkansas where he started as a forward for all 4 years of his time at the university. After graduating, Lance continued to play Men’s Club level rugby with the Arkansas Gryphons until hanging up his boots in 2021. Since stopping play, he has spent time coaching the Arkansas Jr Gryphons, the Arkansas Gryphons, and has been the Assistant Coach for the University of Arkansas since 2022. Coach Lance is also the Founder of the Arkansas Rugby Foundation and a proud Veteran!
